Project Details

The design expanded the existing 28,500 SF of space into approximately 30,500 SF of new and renovated space. The original, outdated dining room, kitchen and food services lines were replaced with a smaller, more efficient kitchen, a marketplace concept of food service stations, and a new dining room with seating for 325 people. The campus proximity to Lake Ontario generated a nautical theme which influenced the interior design concept. Back lit "sails" are suspended over a wavy serpentine serving counter. An oval serving counter with river rock tile is the focus point of the new serving area.
