Project Details
The Village of East Rochester retained Bergmann Associates to design and engineer renovations and additions to their 1967 facility. The project is designed to meet the space needs of the expanding business function of the modern fire department and to provide the volunteers with new technologies required to meet their responsibilities. The main front addition reinvents the character of the building without adding unnecessary cost to the project by eliminating the need to acquire adjacent properties. The two story masonry addition restores the contextual fabric of the small town commercial district by its proximity to the sidewalk at the corner on which it is located.
