We know the importance of balancing purposeful work with opportunities to kick back and connect. That’s one of the reasons Bergmann Young Professionals (BYP) was created in 2015. BYP’s mission is to provide an informal social network that encourages professional development, team building and community outreach.
Over a quarter of Bergmann employees participate in BYP events throughout the year, including a new hire welcome lunch, ballpark outings, professional development activities, Food Drives, 5ks, Friendsgiving Potlucks and a festive “Blocktoberfest”. BYP is always creating new opportunities to socialize outside of the standard day-to-day.
Don’t be fooled by the name. While the word “young” is part of the organization’s name, BYP is open to Bergmann team members of any role, professional level and age interested in furthering their engagement beyond the office walls.
