FEMA recently announced new funding programs for FY 2020 and our robust team of resilience and mitigation experts are available to assist eligible sub-applicants.

In the last 10 years, Bergmann’s grant writing experts have secured more than $65 million in grant funding, with a win rate of over 81 percent. Bergmann’s grant writing capabilities encompass all phases of the application process, and our team has the expertise and availability to help municipalities secure the funding needed for a multitude of projects.

Funding Programs Currently Available

FEMA FMA GRANT PROGRAM FY20

Up to $160 million is available through this program. Program priorities include:

  • Project Scoping to develop community flood mitigation projects and/or individual flood mitigation projects
  • Community Flood Mitigation Projects to address community flood risk for the purpose of reducing NFIP flood claim payments

FEMA BRIC GRANT PROGRAM FY20

Up to $500 million is available through this program. Program priorities include:

  • Lifelines & infrastructure projects
  • Building codes
  • Shared responsibility & partnerships
  • Innovative projects

Application Deadline is January 20, 2021.
