Molly Kase, an Alfred State College student from Brighton, received a $2,500 scholarship from Bergmann Associates. The scholarship is part of The Architectural Foundation of Rochester and the Rochester Chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ 2017 scholarship awards.
The $2,500 Bergmann Associates scholarship is awarded to a high-performing student currently enrolled in an Architecture program. Kase, a first-year student at Alfred State College, excelled throughout her time at Brighton High School and into her college career, earning recognition on the Dean’s List.

Molly possesses a true passion for architecture and it’s clear that she has a bright future ahead of her. We wish Molly the best of luck and continued success at Alfred State College and beyond.”
Kase accepted her award in a ceremony on Wednesday, June 14 at Bergmann Associates offices in Tower280.
About the AIA Rochester/Architectural Foundation Scholarship Program: Each year, The Architectural Foundation of Rochester and the Rochester Chapter of the American Institute of Architects awards 10 local students architecture scholarships. All recipients demonstrate great passion and commitment to architecture along with strong academic performance. The awarded scholarships range from $500 to $2,500 and are based on merit. Applicants are drawn from an eight-county region surrounding Rochester and represent some of the best aspiring local design talent. For the second year in a row, a total of $12,500 in scholarships were distributed to the recipients.
