Bergmann Expands Pittsburgh Capabilities with addition of Bradley Kughn

Bradley Kughn, PE, has joined national architecture, engineering and planning firm Bergmann to lead business development and other key activities in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region for the company. An experienced engineer with more than a decade of experience, Kughn will serve as a project manager for the construction phase of CSX public projects in the area, as well as work with PennDOT and other agencies as part of Bergmann’s Atlantic Infrastructure team.

“We’re excited to welcome Brad to the team in Pittsburgh,” said George Kevgas, vice president Atlantic Infrastructure. “He will establish a strong presence for Bergmann in the Pittsburgh area while delivering top-quality service to both new and existing clients.”

Kughn formerly worked at GAI Consultants, Inc. in Pittsburgh, where he served as an assistant engineering manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Point Park University in Civil Engineering Technology. He’s a Professional Engineer (PE), as well as a PennDOT NBIS Bridge Safety Inspector.

Kughn will be active with a number of groups and professional associations including the American Institute of Steel Construction, American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania, American Society of Highway Engineers – Pittsburgh Section, Engineer’s Society of Western Pennsylvania and Association for Bridge Construction & Design. Kughn currently resides in Clinton Township, Pennsylvania. His hometown is Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
