Bergmann hires Michelle Scott as its new controller

Michelle Scott, CPA, has joined national architecture, engineering and planning firm Bergmann as controller. She’ll oversee business operations and financial activities across practice groups to ensure the firm is in compliance with all contracts, tax codes and regulations. Scott works out of Bergmann’s Rochester, New York office.

An accounting professional since 2001, Scott has held a series of increasingly-responsible positions. She most recently served as director, corporate controller at HealthNow New York, Inc., where she was a key member of the corporate finance leadership team.

Scott has a MBA in accounting from St. John’s University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Canisius College. She currently resides in Caledonia, New York.
