National architecture, engineering and planning firm, Bergmann, has received the 2020 AIA Pennsylvania EPiC Firm Recognition by the AIA Pennsylvania. The EPiC (Emerging Professionals Community) recognition is given to firms who actively engage and foster emerging professionals, which the AIA defines as "architecture graduates pursuing licensure and architects licensed within the last 10 years".
Bergmann is home to more than 140 registered architects, over 40 of whom work out of the firm’s Center City, Conshohocken and Trevose, PA offices. To be considered for this recognition, an emerging professional and principal from Bergmann’s team each completed an assessment that provided checkpoints for three critical areas of Emerging Professional development: The Architectural Experience Program (AXP), Leadership and Support.
“Especially in the architecture profession, you can’t overstate the importance of nurturing upcoming talent. Mentorship, hands-on experience and collaborative learning are key to honing design skills and bringing client projects to life,” stated Sean O’Rourke, Vice President Atlantic Region, Bergmann. “Part of Bergmann’s Vision is to ‘create opportunities for our people’, and this recognition as an EPiC firm further reinforces this focus.”
Bergmann was honored during the AIA Pennsylvania’s 2020 Architectural Excellence Awards, which was broadcast virtually on November 19th. To learn more about Bergmann and explore potential opportunities, visit www.bergmannpc.com.
