Bergmann’s Northeast Buildings group, which provides architectural and interior design, energy and environmental, planning, and buildings, civil and site engineering services to clients across the northeast region of the U.S., has experienced notable growth in recent months. The group hired 11 full-time team members in the last three months alone, reflecting increased demand for design services from clients across government, commercial and specialized science and technology sectors.

Since November 2021, the group welcomed the following team members:

  • Scott Bova, Principal
  • Marie Carone, Government Practice Leader
  • Vienna Cavatassi, Designer
  • Philip DiNicola, Principal Architect
  • Priyank Gupta, Design Engineer – Solar
  • Mariah Hayes, Administrative Assistant
  • Stephen Heinzelman, Sr. Design Engineer – Solar
  • Richard McClain – Designer 2 – Architecture
  • Kate Stephens, Sr. Project Interior Designer
  • Andrew Temperato, Designer – Architecture

Marie Carone, Philip DiNicola, Scott Bova and Kate Stephens joined the team in senior roles and will contribute directly to business development, major pursuits and projects and will provide important leadership and mentorship to the team’s emerging professionals.

“We are riding an incredible wave of momentum coming into 2022 with many exciting opportunities ahead of us,” stated Kimberly Baptiste, Vice President Northeast Buildings. “It’s important that we welcome people who are not only eager to grow personally and professionally with our firm, but who come with existing expertise and can have an immediate impact on our teams and projects. The level of skill and leadership that we’re seeing in our new team members is really unmatched and is setting us up for exciting months and years ahead.”

The Northeast Buildings group also welcomed three interns, two returning from past internships, to support the team’s efforts and gain valuable experience as they complete their degrees: Artur Chuvik, Andrew Lauricella and Colin Thompson, and is preparing for three additional project architects to start in the firm’s Buffalo and Albany offices later in the first quarter.
