Micheline Diegan, AIA, NCARB, a Senior Project Manager in Bergmann’s Jacksonville office, will assist with programs and events and provide support in any areas of need for the Board, such as memberships and sponsorships.
Before being selected as Chapter Director in 2019, Diegan served the Jacksonville AIA Chapter for 17 years as the Coordinator for the Intern Development Program (IDP), a position she created as she was seeking Architect Registration Examination (ARE) seminars and study material for her own licensure. As the IDP Coordinator, Diegan served as a mentor and organizer of ARE license exams seminars and workshops, as well as organizing and leading study group sessions. After obtaining her own license, Diegan continued to mentor ARE candidates and hosted quarterly ARE workshops, which were attended by ARE candidates from Florida, as well as from different states and internationally.
In addition to Diegan’s extensive work with AIA Jacksonville, she is involved with Women in Architecture, the ACE Mentor Program for high school students and Barbie Architect for elementary unprivileged/low income school girls.
“My passion is to make a difference with unconditional ties, and my joy is to witness the fruit it reaps by seeing the success of my fellow architects, community members and valued colleagues,” she said of her various roles.
Thank you, Micheline, for your continued service and for all you do to inspire young women in STEM!
