The Town of Irondequoit was awarded Project of the Year Award for the town's new Department of Public Works Facility, on which Bergmann served as architecture and engineering design consultant. The award was presented by the New York State Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) in the category of Structures Projects - $5-$25 Million.
Following the devastating blaze on Christmas Eve 2016 that destroyed the town's facility and fleet during prime season, Bergmann was selected to provide architectural and engineering design services to rebuild the DPW facility. The new facility is located on a 12-acre parcel and includes administrative, maintenance and operational spaces.
