Tammy Jo Hughes, PE, PTOE has joined national architecture, engineering and planning firm Bergmann in the role of Senior Traffic Engineer in the Midwest Region. Tammy brings over 30 years of experience in traffic engineering, safety and design, and proven success in managing numerous state, municipal and private projects across the State of Ohio throughout her career.

Mike Gramza, Ohio Infrastructure Practice Leader states that “Tammy brings a wealth of traffic safety and design experience that will support Bergmann’s on-going growth across Ohio and the entire Midwest region. Her knowledge and background in not only design and engineering, but marketing and management as well, make her an extremely valuable addition that will greatly benefit our team and clients.”

Tammy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Akron University and various ODOT certifications. Her past projects include the Citywide Traffic Signal Upgrade in Willowick, Ohio and the I-77 Widening/Traffic Signal Improvements in the City of Canton, Ohio.
