Ms. Baptiste has almost 15 years of experience of urban planning, community engagement and project management. Her work has encompassed a wide range of projects including waterfronts, downtowns, comprehensive planning, farmland and agricultural protection, historic preservation, parks and open spaces, watersheds, design guidelines and brownfield redevelopment. As part of these planning efforts, Ms. Baptiste has facilitated hundreds of meetings and has been responsible for the oversight of extensive public outreach programs which have included public workshops and design charrettes, steering committee meetings, focus groups and public hearings. Ms. Baptiste has extensive planning experience across New York State, as well as throughout the nation, including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Connecticut, Ohio, Florida and Alaska. She is a member of the American Planning Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Western Erie Canal Alliance (WECA). She resides in Rochester with her husband and two daughters.
