Marriott AC Hotel, Rooftop Terrace Night, Philadelphia PA
Bergmann provided architectural and interior design services for a new 15-story AC Hotel by Marriott, incorporating a historic two-story building at the base.
Our designers incorporated a historic 2-story building that used to be the home of Warner Bros. Film distribution into this new AC Hotel by Marriott in the heart of Philadelphia. The original structure, designed by by William Harold Lee in 1949, has also served as the headquarters of NFL Films and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Philadelphia. This new building will provide a dramatic addition to the Philadelphia skyline and includes a lower level lobby, bar, dining room and library. The 158 guestrooms span 12 tower floors. The roof can be accessed from the penthouse level that incorporates a rooftop bar / lounge. The building is seeking LEED Gold status.
