Bergmann provided prototype and site adapt design services for the Family First Federal Credit Union (FFFCU) in East Rochester, NY. The 3,200 SF branch meets the evolving needs of its members as the Credit Union incorporates new technologies into its multi-channel service platform. Bergmann helped FFFCU understand emerging trends in the retail banking sector including the elimination of full-line vaults and the emergence of teller pods. The teller pods eliminate cash drawers in favor of Teller Cash Recycler technology (TCR). This simple change allows for better member engagement and more efficient branch staffing. In addition, Bergmann worked with the Credit Union to develop a community branch where meeting and conference room space may be securely used after hours.
Prototype design included full exterior redesign of the Credit Union's arts-n-crafts themed envelope, while increasing natural light. The interior FF&E package was totally reimagined with the use of contemporary arts-n-crafts finishes, color pallet and furniture. New merchandising units were designed as member touch-points integrating the Credit Union’s most recent technology upgrades.
