Bergmann has provided preliminary and final design, as well as construction support services, for the rehabilitation the Grand Island Bridges since 1994.

Bergmann performed a design project to evaluate the long-term options for the four bridges carrying I-190 over the Niagara River onto and off of Grand Island located near Buffalo, NY. Based on the structural inspections, it was determined that structural repairs were necessary to maintain the bridges and ensure public safety. Bergmann performed the preliminary design (including the development of a Design Approval Document), final design and construction support services during the rehabilitation of these bridges.
