Heidelberg Digital Headquarters

Heidelberg Digital was formed in 2000 to manufacture and develop products for the commercial digital industry as a part of Heidelberg Druckmaschinen (Germany). Bergmann assisted this rapidly forming company in creating a world class facility and establishing and forecasting a corporate facilities program as well as building standards for the developing organization. Bergmann provided full-service design, renovating a vacant 630,000 sq. ft. manufacturing building. 270,000 sq. ft. of new space was added to the existing facility on 130 acres, re-defining the building and revitalizing the 500-acre industrial complex. The building was designed to house up to 1,500 employees, R&D labs, light manufacturing, sales, service and training staff and Heidelberg’s executive team.
