Bergmann completed a Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) Nomination Study for the Lyell-Lake-State Street (LYLAKS) area that develops a deeper understanding of the opportunities and constraints associated with the revitalization of strategic sites. The study area encompassed a 394-acre neighborhood with high concentrations of abandoned industrial and commercial properties along three key commercial corridors near the heart of downtown – Lyell Avenue, Lake Street and State Street.
