Dr. David Smith / McLaren / Sparrow Medical Office Building

This 36,500 sf Medical Office Building was conceived by the owner to bring the services and specialties of two Hospitals together with his private practice to provide exceptional Medical Service to the Grand Ledge Community. The project was built in two phases. The medical center includes open and inviting public space offering several educational nodes which are integrated into the waiting areas.

Bergmann provided full-service architecture, building and site engineering for this medical office for Family Medicine of Michigan and McLaren Greater Lansing. As the project moved forward in programming, an additional 11,000 SF building would be required for a third medical tenant, Sparrow. The facility is configured as two separate, but connected buildings due to regulations not permitting two hospital entities in one building. The medical center includes open and inviting public space offering several educational nodes which were integrated with the waiting areas.
