Multiple phase planning initiative resulting in a BOA Nomination Study and Implementation Strategy for North Tonawanda, NY.
Bergmann worked with the City of North Tonawanda on a long-term, multi-phase planning initiative designed to support the redevelopment of Tonawanda Island in the Niagara River, portions of the River Road corridor and downtown North Tonawanda. The program included two key stages that occur in an established Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) project process - the Nomination Study (Step 2) and the Implementation Strategy (Step 3).
