Bergmann provided both civil and site engineering services to the main entrance of the courtyard for Kearney Hall at St, John Fisher College.
The project included demolition of all existing granite, concrete stairs and all walkways to make way for a new ADA serpentine ramp. Bergmann integrated the staircase with retaining and seating walls, worked on the landscaping around Kearny Hall and upgraded the common areas that are used for student activities and events. The roof replacement consisted of a complete reconstruction of the slate, making sure to preserve the historic structure’s integrity. Customized detailing was provided amongst some of the architectural elements for the intricate staging and campus site logistics.
