Architectural and Building Engineering for urban Trader Joe’s location
Bergmann provided the store planning and tenant fit out for Trader Joe’s at a 15,500 square foot vacant retail space in the ground floor of a parking garage on a highly visible site across from the Philadelphia Convention Center. Providing complete architectural and building engineering with in-house expertise, a unique result of the urban location is that the condensing equipment was placed 10 stories above the store on a scaffold above the top parking level. This project was only the second Trader Joe’s in the city of Philadelphia.
