Xerox Corporation has been undertaking a retro-commissioning (RCx) effort at its Webster, NY campus in an effort to maximize energy efficiency and to identify needed capital improvements. This effort encompassed the Salt Road toner production complex, warehouse and distribution buildings and the pilot plant. In total, more than 800 pieces of equipment in eleven buildings were evaluated.
Retro-commissioning was performed at 11 buildings for all building-related systems, including HVAC, exhaust, central steam, hot water, chilled water, dust collectors and vacuum systems. The project received matching funding under the NYSERDA FlexTech program.
